Frequently asked questions

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes, at this time I only offer sessions secure telehealth sessions for clients throughout California. Many people find online therapy convenient and equally effective as in-person work. You can join sessions from the comfort of your own private space.

How do I get started?

You can reach out through my website’s contact form or email me directly to schedule a brief consultation. This gives us a chance to talk about what you’re looking for and see if we’re a good fit. If it feels right, we’ll schedule your first session and begin from there.

What can I expect in my first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll also talk about your background, strengths, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and heard as we begin this process.

How long does therapy take?

The length of therapy varies depending on your needs and goals. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific issue, while others choose to continue longer for deeper self-understanding and growth. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is meeting your needs and to adjust as you evolve.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes — confidentiality is one of the foundations of therapy. What you share stays between us, with a few exceptions required by law (such as concerns of harm to yourself or others). I’ll review these details with you at the start so you understand your privacy rights.
